The Project's engineering information is available for viewing by industry professionals. Simply click the Project area you are interested in. Plans provided on this site are for information only. The plan sets include earlier concepts for the design that were considered following the initial 2003 FEIS and do not include modifications called for in the Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement. No information provided on this site should be considered as providing details that would be used by the Design-Build contractors or their teams in the development of their proposal. Plans for that purpose will be made available to the contractors at an appropriate time in the near future.

PRE-BID MEETING ON DOWNTOWN PHASE

KYTC will hold a pre-bid meeting on the downtown phase of the Bridges Project, which includes modernizing the downtown Louisville interchange, completing the design and construction of the new I-65 bridge and its connections in Southern Indiana. The meeting will be held:

This meeting is mandatory for contractors who intend to be the lead of a DBT. However, every company interested in bidding on the project should send a representative. Those attending will receive information necessary for successful submittal of an RFQ and for implementation of the project.

PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD

The public comment period on the Supplemental Draft Environmental Impact Statement has ended. As always, comments about the project can be voiced by utilizing the "Contact Us" portion of the website. A response, if requested, is provided.

SUPPLEMENTAL DRAFT ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STATEMENT (SDEIS)

On November 10, 2011, the SDEIS for the Louisville-Southern Indiana Ohio River Bridges Project was approved by the Federal Highway Administration, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) and the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT). DIFFERENCES BETWEEN 2003 EIS ALTERNATIVE AND 2011 SDEIS ALTERNATIVE
