Final Bridge Types
During Step 4 of the process, three final alternatives were selected from the six
offered in step 3. These alternatives were further analyzed and presented to the
Executive Bridge Type Selection Committee for final review. The committee chose
the Three-Tower Cable-Stayed Bridge Type for the Downtown Bridge and the Median-Tower
Cable-Stayed Center Cables Bridge Type for the East End Bridge.
