Blasting operations to begin at U.S. 42 and KY 841
July 19, 2006 - The Department of Highways District 5 Office announces the
beginning of blasting in the project area for the relocation of the ramps at KY
841 and US 42. Blasting will begin on Monday, July 24, 2006, between 2:00
p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Blasting operations may occur seven days a week, from 9
a.m. until sundown. No blasting will occur from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. due to
rush hour. Blasting will continue through October 2006.
The actual starting date and duration of this work may be adjusted if inclement
weather or other unforeseen delays occur. For additional traffic and project
