Kennedy Interchange

Maps have not be updated to reflect the latest designs submitted by Walsh Construction and WVB East End Partners.

Features of the Kennedy Interchange

The Kennedy Interchange is the convergence of Interstates 64, 65 and 71 in downtown Louisville, known as "Spaghetti Junction." It includes the approaches to the new downtown bridge and adjacent John F. Kennedy Bridge.

Note

Right-of-Way boundaries are approximate and show areas needed by the respective states to safely build and operate the roadway and affected areas. Temporary easements (light blue dashed lines on Right of Way view) are portions of parcels purchased by the states for construction but ultimately turned back over to the property owner upon completion. Edge of pavement lines show the expected lane edge lines after construction is complete.
