KYTC will hold a pre-bid meeting on the downtown phase of the Bridges Project, which includes modernizing the downtown Louisville interchange, completing the design and construction of the new I-65 bridge and its connections in Southern Indiana. The meeting will be held:
March 1, 2012 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Kentucky International Convention Center 221 S. 4th Street Louisville, KY 40202
This meeting is mandatory for contractors who intend to be the lead of a DBT. However, every company interested in bidding on the project should send a representative. Those attending will receive information necessary for successful submittal of an RFQ and for implementation of the project.

The public comment period on the Supplemental Draft Environmental Impact Statement has ended. As always, comments about the project can be voiced by utilizing the "Contact Us" portion of the website. A response, if requested, is provided.
On November 10, 2011, the SDEIS for the Louisville-Southern Indiana Ohio River Bridges Project was approved by the Federal Highway Administration, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) and the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT).
